On Thursday 11 July 2024 Sponsors and partners visited the Siyajabula Children’s Home in Molweni to celebrate the opening of the Siyajabula Learning Centre. The space was build to create a much needed preschool for the younger children of the orphanage as well as a training centre for older children to develop skills and learn. This was a huge achievement and a step towards long term goal of the home to educate, up skill and enable the children to fit into society with the intent of earning a living and building up their own community.
Founder, Rejoice Eunice Mweli, fondly known as Ma Eunice to the children, along with trustee members, teachers, partners and key donors all gathered for the ribbon cutting to mark this momentous occasion.
Special thanks was given to all the main sponsors who made this project possible, K D Waste, Energy Drive, Zungu Civils, & Melki Group. This is a new chapter building a better future for these children and the community.
